You know something's not right. You just need someone to help figure out what.
Most parents come to us because they’ve hit a wall. The pediatrician said “wait and see.” The school’s been calling. Therapy helped a little, but not enough. You’re tired of being handed off, and you want a doctor who will actually sit down, listen, and tell you what’s going on.
Common signs we help families sort through:
- Trouble focusing or finishing schoolwork
- Meltdowns, irritability, or sudden mood swings
- Anxiety that keeps them from school, sleep, or friendships
- Withdrawing, sadness, or losing interest in things they used to love
- Acting out at home or in the classroom
- A previous diagnosis that hasn’t been well-managed
- You just know, as a parent, that something’s off
How it works
Real conversation, careful evaluation, honest plan.
We listen
The first visit is a real conversation. Dr. Indukuri hears the full history and asks the questions that actually matter.
We evaluate
A thorough, evidence-based assessment. We figure out what's going on — whether that's ADHD, anxiety, mood, autism, or something else.
We build a plan
A clear, honest plan that fits your family. Sometimes medication, sometimes not. You'll know the next step and why.
Why Dr. Indukuri for kids
Dr. Indukuri is board-certified in both child/adolescent and adult psychiatry — a distinction most psychiatrists in the DFW area don’t have. He’s been working with kids since 1990, and parents tell us the same thing in review after review: he actually listens, he doesn’t push medication, and he treats their child like a whole person.
Most psychiatric practices in the DFW area don’t see kids at all. The ones that do often start at age 16 or older. We don’t — and it’s one of the things we’re best known for.

A conservative, parent-partnered approach to medication
We know you’re nervous about medication. Every parent is. Here’s how we think about it:
Medication is a tool — one of several. Sometimes it’s the right tool. Sometimes it’s not. Dr. Indukuri has spent three decades learning which situations call for medication and which don’t, and he’ll be straight with you either way.
When we do recommend medication, we start at the lowest effective dose, explain exactly what it does and what to watch for, and revisit the decision regularly. You’re a partner in every choice — not a spectator.
Parent FAQ
What ages do you see?
Dr. Indukuri sees children, adolescents, and adults. Call us with your child’s age and we’ll confirm the fit.
Will my child have to take medication?
Not necessarily. Medication is one option among several. We’ll tell you honestly whether we think it’s appropriate.
How long is the first visit?
Longer than a typical doctor’s appointment. The first evaluation is built to give Dr. Indukuri enough time to actually understand your child’s situation.

When it’s helpful — yes. We can provide documentation for 504 plans, IEPs, and school accommodations.
My child has already been diagnosed elsewhere. Can you take over their care?
